The Endeavour
Every single one of us has a brave adventure burning deep down inside. A lucky few of us might just make it happen.
The Endeavour was created for these dreams. Pioneering initiative from Ancient + Brave, designed to unlock the brave adventures that are stuck just out of reach.
Following an overwhelming response, our judging is now complete.
We are proud to introduce The Endeavour Participants for 2026. A group of women bravely committing to something meaningful, challenging and deeply personal. Ready to prove what they're capable of.

A 40 day ski journey across Greenland in preparation for a historic first - becoming the first Black woman to solo ski to the South Pole.
“To me, crossing Greenland isn’t just about qualifying to do a solo expedition to the South Pole. It’s about overcoming obstacles and illness and proving that we can achieve the unthinkable, if we would only dare, try and not be scared to fail.
Miriam Walker-Khan & Brown Girl Sport
Bringing together women from the South Asian community to train — many for the first time — and take on a UK mountain. Creating space, representation and strength through collective challenge.
“We are so excited to be taking part in The Endeavour. It’s a dream to have the opportunity to do something which we hope will raise awareness and have a lasting impact for our community.
Jennifer Retallick & Rachel Bednarski
Roller skating 370km from Slovakia to Germany, culminating at the Berlin In-Line Skating Marathon. An endurance challenge built on friendship, grit and shared momentum.
“To us, The Endeavour means going all in on the adventure of life, taking on challenges to show ourselves and our kids what’s possible when you dream big and embrace the uncomfortable, and going back to the roots of our friendship to prove that anything is possible with your best friend laughing along with you!

Paddle boarding the 3750km length of the Mississippi River, from source to sea. A personal journey to reclaim bravery, resilience and self-belief.
“The Endeavour feels like a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I’m utterly grateful. It gives me space to reflect on my past, opportunity to celebrate my present, and most importantly create a story that I hope inspires others to choose their own brave.
The Bluetit 6 Channel Relay Team
The women who inspired The Endeavour, and who now join it. We follow their journey to a cross-Channel relay swim in 2027.
“The Endeavour means everything to us. We have always believed in ourselves but having the support in place from Ancient + Brave shows us that others not only believe in us, but that also have a chance to inspire other amazing women to chase their own dreams now.
