Why are tinctures in liquid form with alcohol?
Alcohol is traditionally used in tinctures as an effective way to extract and preserve the beneficial compounds in herbs. It also allows the nutrients to remain in liquid form, which supports optimal absorption and efficient metabolism by the body. The alcohol content in our tinctures is very low. However, if you'd prefer to reduce it further, you can add your tincture to a warm drink—this may help some of the ethanol to evaporate before consumption.
