Last year, we launched Brave Voices, our inspiring series of wellness talks led by Davina McCall, celebrating women who choose to embrace living bravely. 

Now, Brave Voices is back for 2026 with eight new conversations exploring the foundations of wellness- from spotting the signs of stress to simplifying wellness and choosing a life of balance over burnout.

Joining Davina this season are Joe Marler, professional rugby player and mental health advocate, nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner Rose Ferguson, and presenter, author & breath expert Ashley Roberts. 

Drawing on their own lived experience, together, they explore what it really means to build a foundation for lasting wellness, not through perfection or overhaul, but through the small, consistent choices that make a genuine difference.

Episode One: The Storm before the Calm 

Burnout rarely announces itself, instead building quietly with signals we learn to overlook. In our first episode of series two, Davina, Joe, Rose and Ashley reflect honestly on the warning signs they wished they'd caught sooner;  the stress signals, the overwhelm, the quiet moments of nervous system dysregulation that so often go unheard. Drawing on their own lived experience, they share the tools and awareness that can help you learn how to listen to your body. 

Episode Two: Building Your Foundations 

The foundations of genuine wellness are often simpler than you might think. In our second episode, Davina, Joe, Rose and Ashley move from that moment of realisation that something needs to change to the practical work of rebuilding; the daily routines, nutritional foundations and small but powerful habits that create lasting change. With firsthand knowledge of starting over and stripping back, they share the tools that have helped them build genuine resilience. From learning to swim and sitting a Maths A-Level, to the quieter but equally courageous work of finding more balance and being kinder to yourself, it is proof that bravery does not always look like the same thing.

Episode Six: The Secret Nugget 

Often, the most powerful insights are the simplest ones. In episode six, Davina, Joe, Rose and Ashley each share their single most important piece of wisdom for living a balanced, fulfilled life; the thing they return to again and again. From the freedom that comes with saying no to the quiet damage of carrying guilt, this is the episode to come back to whenever you need a gentle reminder to show up for yourself.

Episode Seven: Breathe with Ashley, Part One 

Your breath is one of the most powerful tools you have, and most of us have forgotten how to use it. In our seventh episode, Ashley guides Davina, Joe and Rose through a breathwork session designed for beginners; simple, accessible and genuinely transformative. Whether you're new to breathwork or looking for a moment to reset, this is your invitation to start.

Episode Eight: Breathe with Ashley, Part Two 

What if something as simple as humming could help you feel calmer, clearer and more grounded? In our eighth and final episode of Brave Voices, Ashley guides Davina, Joe and Rose through a series of vagus nerve stimulating practices that soothe the parasympathetic nervous system, bringing calm and reducing anxiety, an essential  tool kit for those times that your bravery needs a boost.

Rose grew up helping in her grandmother's health food shop, and has spent a lifetime turning that early wisdom into hard science. One of the most sought-after functional medicine practitioners in the UK, her approach is rooted in treating the whole body, and the belief that the most powerful transformations are built not on perfection, but on getting back to basics.
