Brave Ancestral Protein Energy Balls - a no-bake protein recipe

2 Min read

Are you looking for easy, tasty ways to get more protein into your day? You’ll love our Brave Ancestral Protein Energy Ball recipe.

Delicious, satisfying, and made with 30g of nutrient-rich protein, these oat-based protein balls need just seven ingredients and no baking.

Each uses our nutrient-dense Brave Ancestral Protein powder to support strength, satiety and energy across your day- perfect for post-gym, an office snack or simply when you’re out and about.

Once made, they keep for around 7-10 days and can be frozen if needed. Better yet, our in-house nutritionist’s recipe makes 12 protein balls, making them one of the easiest protein snacks to prep ahead.

For a fun flavour twist, you can also make this recipe with Matcha + Collagen, Cacao + Chaga or even our vegan collagen alternative, Radiant Collagyn

  • Matcha + Collagen gives a caffeine-free energy boost with added collagen support for skin and joints

  • Cacao + Chaga creates a rich, chocolate protein ball with functional mushroom support

  • Radiant Collagyn creates a berry-flavoured protein ball that's vegan-friendly and rich in vitamin C

Simply swap the Brave Ancestral Protein for a scoop of your preferred Brave Blend; just be aware that this will slightly change the protein per serving.

Enjoy!

Ingredients

12 energy balls

For this recipe, you will need:

+ 30g Brave Ancestral Protein

+ 100g oats

+ 150g raisins

+ 30g sunflower seeds

+ 60g dates

+ 1 tbsp honey

+ Small bowl of water (for adjusting texture)

Method

Step 1:  Add everything (except water) into a food processor.

Step 2:  Blend until the mixture is well combined and starting to form a dough-like texture. You want it sticky and slightly tacky, so it holds when pressed.

Step 3: If your mix feels too dry/crumbly, add water here. Add 1 teaspoon at a time and blend again. If it now feels too wet, simply add a small handful of oats and blend again.

Step 4: Scoop out small portions and roll the mixture into balls using your hands. For extra flavour, you can roll each ball in the chosen powdered product for a light dusting.

Step 5: Pop the protein balls into the fridge to set for up to 1 hour.
