Put 10g in a cafetiere and add 200ml of hot water. Allow to brew for 4 minutes, plunge and serve.

Santos Brazilian Arabica coffee beans are among the most renowned in Brazil, directly descended from the original coffee plants imported to the region. We use high-grade organic beans, offering a fuller, fruitier flavor. These beans undergo a natural, unwashed process, allowing the pulp to ferment during drying, and we source low mycotoxin batches.
Our Santos coffee delivers a nutty, mellow, bittersweet, chocolaty flavor with low acidity—perfect for our Coffee + Collagen.

Does Coffee + Collagen contain the recommended daily dose of collagen?
Our Coffee + Collagen contains 2g of hydrolysed collagen peptides, specifically designed at a lower dose so you can adjust your daily dose, by adding more True or Wild Collagen if you wish. True and Wild Collagen contains 100% hydrolysed collagen peptides and we recommend a daily intake of 5-10g of collagen for optimal benefits. You could add an additional 3-8g (~1 teaspoon) of True or Wild Collagen to your Coffee + Collagen. You could add additional products such as True MCT Oil to your Coffee + Collagen if you wish too. Alongside the collagen content, you may experience benefits from the additional ingredients in Coffee + Collagen including Cacao, Ashwagandha, Chicory Root and Baobab.
Can I take this with other Ancient + Brave products?
Coffee + Collagen can be taken alongside other Ancient + Brave products containing Ashwagandha, such as our True Ashwagandha, Cacao + Reishi and Cacao + Collagen. However, be mindful of your total Ashwagandha intake to avoid exceeding recommended doses. Ashwagandha provided per serving in our current products: Cacao + Reishi 200mg; Coffee + Collagen 500mg; Cacao + Collagen 200mg; True Ashwagandha 600mg. We do not recommend exceeding 1000mg per day.
Is Coffee + Collagen safe to take during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We would suggest being mindful of our products containing caffeine and botanicals like Ashwagandha, if you are monitoring your intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding. You should always speak to your doctor or midwife before introducing any new supplements or dietary changes during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Due to ethical constraints, studies in pregnant and breastfeeding individuals are limited, so we are unable to make specific recommendations. If in doubt, please consult your healthcare provider.
What are the benefits of adding True MCT oil to my coffee + collagen?
By blending True MCT into either of our blends you add another layer of fuel to your day. You gain all the nourishing benefits of the hydrolysed collagen with the additional boost of fuel from the MCT. In the case of the Coffee + Collagen it could be that when the caffeine wears off, the MCT oils may still have you covered.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE COFFEE + COLLAGEN?
Our Coffee + Collagen is a Turkish grind which is a finely ground roasted coffee (not instant) and therefore should be used with a French press or Cafetière and add 250ml of hot water. If you just added the water the Coffee would suspend rather than dissolve so it would have a grainy texture. So, if you put 10g into your Cafetière and then pour 250ml of hot water into the cafetière cylinder and make sure the coffee grounds are saturated. It is then best to allow the Coffee to steep for a couple of minutes, then stir and then leave to stand for a further 5 minutes and the Coffee should then settle. If you are taking the Coffee + Collagen with MCT oil, this would then require blending for about 5 seconds until the Coffee is smooth and creamy. Any blender would be suitable.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR OUR COFFEE TO BE MYCOTOXIN FREE?
Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites of moulds and coffee is easily one of the largest sources of mycotoxins in the food supply. Some types of coffee have more mycotoxins than others. There’s no benefit to mycotoxin exposure, and even tiny amounts within regulatory standards may impact the health of some sensitive individuals. The main mycotoxins are Aflatoxin B1 (a known carcinogen) and Ochratoxin A. We have taken the extra measure to ensure our coffee is not just organic and free of pesticides, but also free of undesirable moulds.
